The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is available in five exclusive trim levels

The Hyundai Veloster is a dynamic, five-door compact car. It made its debut in 2011 and is now entering its second generation as a reborn model. The latest iteration is larger and sports a more aggressive look. Inside, the cabin has also been redesigned.

2.0

Although it's the base model, the 2.0 Hyundai Veloster is still well-equipped. Forward collision mitigation comes standard, as does lane-keeping assist and a rearview camera. A 7-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android auto keeps occupants connected.

As the name implies, power comes from a 2.0L four-cylinder engine churning out 147 hp and 132-lb-ft. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, and a six-speed automatic is optional.

Premium

The Premium trim comes with all the equipment found on the 2.0. Plus, it takes things up a notch with standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The cabin gets upgraded with a sunroof, automatic climate control heated front seats, and push-button start. A larger, 8-inch display provides connectivity, along with Blue Link services.

Turbo R-Spec

Driving enthusiasts will gravitate towards the Turbo R-Spec with its turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission. A sport-tuned suspension and summer performance tires allow it to hug the curves.

But the R-Spec isn't a bare-bones racer. It also offers amenities such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Blue Link and push-button start. Front and rear LED lighting comes standard.

Turbo

The Turbo is essentially a touring model. It takes the high-performance features found in the R-Spec and seamlessly blends them with the luxuries found in the Premium model. The 1.6L turbocharged engine is found under the hood, paired with an EcoShift seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Turbo Ultimate

At the top of the food chain, you'll find the Turbo Ultimate. This high-end model comes with leather upholstery, a head-up display, and navigation system. On the safety front, there's collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, automatic wipers, and adaptative cruise control (on automatic transmission-equipped models).

Power comes from the 1.6L turbo engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed EcoShift dual clutch transmission.
